Eliana got her first haircut today! I needed to take Emily to get a haircut for school and I decided that Eliana could finally join us. I know that most kids have had their haircut by the time they are Eliana's age. But her hair is so thin and fine, I thought that I would wait for it to thicken up a little bit. It hasn't changed much the past couple of years...just gotten longer, but still very fine. It was looking rather scraggly on the ends though so we felt a haircut was in order. She had a great time and loved being in the high chair.
Before:
She had just taken her hair down from a pony tail so it shows more volume than normal, but I was mainly trying to capture the length on film for her baby book.
After:
She got a "First Haircut" certificate that she was proud of. It looks a lot more polished now and I'm glad that we got it done.
