Sarah's Stats

I took Sarah to her 9-month check-up today. She weighed 18 lbs and 10 oz which was in the 50% still. Her height was in the 90% though at 29 inches. The doctor said she had the height of a 12.5 month old, which is probably why she is in 12 month clothes. I'm not sure where she gets that...I'm the shortest one in my family and Andy is just average height as well.

She has 8 teeth, 4 on top and 4 on bottom. She is doing well on her accomplishments. The doctor said she is trying to keep up with Emily and Eliana!

While we were waiting on the doctor in the examining room, I was reading my book while holding Sarah. I looked up and she was waving her hand while saying "Bye, bye" over and over. I was so excited! I'm not sure if she knows what "bye bye" means, but I was thrilled that she had finally figured out how to wave and say it at the same time.

I am praying that we make it through the winter with no flu. We have never gotten the vaccine and we have never had the flu. I think we are going to get the flu vaccine this year though since Emily is in school and Eliana and Sarah go to the nursery at the gym a lot. The doctor said she would put me on the list to be called whenever the vaccine came in.

Everything else went well and she is a healthy and happy baby!
