A Counting Hobby

I have noticed recently that Sarah loves counting. I hear her counting all the time. I'm not sure if she really understands what counting is. Occasionally, I will see her counting out things, like rocks outside, but for the most part, she just starts saying the numbers at random times with no indication that she is actually counting out objects. So I think it's probably more likely that she has just memorized the numbers and likes saying them. She still hasn't gotten all of the sounds of the numbers, but we can tell what she is trying to say. She usually only counts up to 12 and then starts over again or repeats 11 and 12 over and over.
