We had Sarah's birthday party this past Saturday. Even though her real birthday isn't for a couple more weeks, the party was scheduled now so that people wouldn't be out of town for Thanksgiving. She has been talking about this party for weeks! The theme was a "Pink Pony" party. We planned to have it at a local park, but had put our address as an alternate location in case of inclement weather. I had been anxiously watching the weather reports all week. It looked like it was going to be a great day, a high of 70 degrees and partly cloudy. We got to the park a little early to start decorating the little pavilion. We didn't realize until then how windy it was!! It was chilly, but not unbearable so we were thankful. We ended up not putting up balloons and streamers because the gusts of wind would have blown them all over the park. Even without the decorations, I think she still had a fun time with her friends!! They had fun breaking the pinata, playing on the playground, blowing bubbles, and playing with sidewalk chalk.
that looks like a cute party!
