Fall Costumes and Parties

This past weekend, we attended a whirlwind of fall parties in celebration of the season. The girls got to use their costumes several times this year. Emily made up her own costume as a "Pink Collector". She was someone who carried a pink wand with a pink bucket of pink items. Supposedly, everything she touched with her wand turned pink and she would collect the items into her bucket. She was excited to dye her hair pink this year. I used the spray dye and, thankfully, it washed right out at the end of the day.

As previously seen on the blog, Eliana was a lavender butterfly, and Sarah was a bumblebee.

Emily's class kicked off the first one on Friday afternoon. After painting pumpkins and making a scary hand, the kids enjoyed a lunch of sandwiches, candy apples, popcorn balls, cupcakes, and cookies.

On Friday night, we had a blast at a friend's house where we had a yummy dinner and played a few games. The girls got to see a few friends they hadn't seen in a while and loved it.

On Saturday afternoon, the girls and I had our Halloween time by watching Barbie's Rapunzel and chowing down on candy. That night, we went to another friend's house for more delicious food and good company. Andy took the girls trick or treating while I stayed behind with Sarah.

It was a fun weekend! I am really looking forward to Thanksgiving now and the Christmas season!
