SNOW!!

We FINALLY got some snow here and even though it was just a dusting, Emily was out of school for the day. I was really looking forward to everyone sleeping in, but the girls were awake at 5:00 a.m. wanting to go outside. I was able to convince Eliana to eat breakfast first, but Emily was anxious to be the first one out. Once Eliana went out, a snowball fight broke out with very small snowballs. Emily did manage to get enough snow together to build a snowman:





Eliana is not really fond of cold weather and didn't stay out very long.



Sarah seemed to be really excited about going out. She was banging on the back door and looking through the window. She has never done that before, but I took her out long enough to just snap a picture. She could have stayed out longer, maybe, but she kept falling down and her legs were all wet.



Emily just yelled that a big blackbird swooped down just now and ate the eyes off of her snowman. I'm going to have to go help her.
