Day 3 at the Beach

Yesterday, we got to the beach early. We were the only ones out there for awhile. A couple of families joined us later on. We saw a lot of sea creatures today -- two of which were on Emily's "never want to see" list.

1) Two stingrays went swimming by in formation side by side. They circled around Andy and headed back out into sea.

2) There were lots of jellyfish being pushed by the waves close to shore. They were the size of a quarter in diameter all the way up to a little larger than softball size. They didn't have very long tentacles and moved slowly so we were able to stay away from them.



3) There were flying fish jumping in and out of the water.

4) We saw another dolphin!



After seeing the stingrays and jellyfish, Emily and Eliana decided to stay out of the water for a little while. I'm just thankful we haven't seen any sharks yet! Here are some swimming pictures from today:
