Fiddle Dee Dee

We took the weekend to recuperate and everyone is now feeling back to their normal selves, thankfully. It was such a rainy weekend that we just hung out around the house. Andy finally agreed to watch "Gone With The Wind" with me.



I have been telling him for years that he should see it just one time in his life. After watching it, he told me that he had always invisioned Scarlett as being a very noble character. His opinion of her drastically changed after seeing the movie. He did seem to enjoy the dialogues between Rhett and Scarlett. They were both so blunt and honest with Rhett's dry humor mixed in. We made chili and chips and dip and watched half the movie on Saturday and the second half on Sunday. We also played some Wii with the girls and held bowling competitions. It was a very relaxing weekend!

    That sounds so nice! I think I may have to take a weekend off soon and do that..... I can't believe Andy's never seen that movie! Has he seen Where the Red Fern Grows? That's one I've been trying to get Jake to see.....

    I was just thinking TODAY about renting Where the Red Fern Grows because the girls have never seen it either and I thought they would enjoy it! I'll have to ask Andy if he's seen it... That's funny that we both thought of that movie! :)
