We went to the ultrasound today. I had taken Emily and Eliana out of school a little early so that they could come along too. We did not want to find out the gender so the ultrasound technician didn't even bother looking. The legs were crossed the entire time anyway so she said it would have been difficult if we had wanted to know. The baby is looking GREAT!! There were no problems. I am 22 weeks today, but the baby was measuring 22 weeks and 5 days. It weighed approximately 1 pound, 3 ounces. It kept putting its arms up over its face as the technician was trying to get a good shot. She finally was able to get one. We didn't get a profile shot because towards the end, the baby laid face down and went to sleep. No amount of wiggling would get it to move.
Emily enjoyed watching everything, but Eliana and Sarah got restless. I think it wasn't what they expected it to be like and they had a hard time telling what everything was. It was a neat experience though and I'm very thankful that everything is ok.
