First Day of Camp

We dropped Emily off at camp today. She was really excited, but started getting nervous the closer we got to the camp. Her counselors seemed really nice though. We got to go to her cabin and help her get her bed made and get set up. The cabin was definitely not what we expected. They had tile floors with air conditioning and fans. All of the bunks were labeled with each girls' name and Emily was excited to get a top bunk. The bathroom had towel hooks that were labeled with each girls' name also so we hung her towel up and put her caboodle underneath. I was impressed at how organized it all was. We got her set up and said goodbye. She gave us all really big hugs so she must have still been feeling a little unsure when we left since she doesn't usually show a lot of affection, but I think that it helped seeing all of her friends there. I'm excited to see the online pictures that the camp posts each evening! I'm sure she will have a blast! I'm still going to be slightly worried until she comes home again though.
